Readington Trail Association (RTA) is a qualified 501(c)3 organization with the goal of preserving the rural atmosphere of Readington through establishing and maintaining many miles of beautiful trails throughout theTownship. In addition to trail work, RTA works within the community to support essential/emergency services and educate members and others about equine health, safety and emergency procedures.

Spring Trail Pace on May 5th

Friday Night Gymkhana returns to Crazy Horse Farm!!  Free, but must be a member for insurance purposes.  May 17th 5 pm for BBQ and gymkhana to follow.

Club Ride Recap-March 10th, we had a picture perfect day for a trail ride.  10 riders joined us for a ride on the Pleasant Run Greenway.  Footing was great and we had a fun tailgate picnic afterwards.  Thanks to our hosts Al and Karen!

Thanks to all who particpated in our recent trail clearings! 

The River Trail loop and Lipton Tea Trail have been re-opened.

Our 36 man hours completely re-opened all sections of the Pleasant Run Greenway.

Cole Road Greenway has some storm damage but both loops on the east and west sides are passable.

Wooded sections of Round Mountain remain devastated with storm damage.  However, the open fields and main trail to Deer Path Park have been re-opened/re-routed and are rideable.

Trail Clearings:
  

April 25th:  11 am- Lachenmyer Trail. Meet at the park on Roosevelt.

The last Sunday of each month at 11 am has been designated as a standing appointment for clearing as we clean up and re-open the trails from superstorm Sandy damage.    Additional weekdays sesions will be scheduled as well.
