Finnegan is a handsome 13 yr. old Quarter Horse(15.2 H) with extensive training. He is very light in the bridle and responsive to his rider. He has three very balanced gaits, is willing over fences, and has been trail ridden. Finnegan is currently being ridden by a trainer and is fit and ready to go in any discipline that you choose (English or Western.) He is sensitive and therefore not a beginner’s horse, but would be an excellent partner for a confident rider that wants to move up, as he is quite talented and ready for more. Free Off-Farm Lease/$200 On-Farm Lease: Reg. Appendix QH Mare She is a gentle and honest, lovable 15 year old registered Appendix QH mare, about 15h. Absolutely loves the ring and has done trails too. I’ve taken her on rides with groups and alone, and she’s easy going, very willing and well behaved. A retired show hunter, she was trained English, but has been quickly learning Western. She is quiet, inquisitive, wants to take care of you, very eager to please, and can teach a beginner rider the basics or built the confidence of an intermediate rider. Due to a manageable lameness issue, she is limited to walk/trot (no jumping). She is an easy keeper, can be turned out with mares or gelding, has excellent ground manners around kids, and stands quietly for grooming, mounting, farrier, vet, clipping, bathing and fly spray. She can be loaded by 1 person at barn or away, and trailers quietly alone or with another horse.&Back & neck injuries from a recent car accident have restricted me from riding. The woman currently leasing her is having knee surgery, so I'm looking for another good person interested in light riding or in need of a quiet companion horse is needed to give this wonderful horse the attention she deserves while I recuperate, or possibly provide a forever home. Free off-farm lease, or $200 on-farm lease in Readington, NJ (indoor/outdoor rings, hot/cold wash stall, RTA trail access). Western tack available.
